A. No, the Brazilian citizen only needs a valid passport valid for more than 6 months and can stay in Portugal for 90 calendar days.

R. Passport valid for at least 6 months; air travel ticket (round trip); proof of accommodation (invitation letter or hotel reservation); proof of the financial means of maintaining the trip (equivalent to 75 euros per person at the entrance, plus 40 euros for each day of stay). Values are per person.

Q. Can I look for a job in Brazil to work in Portugal?

A. Yes. It is necessary to register on the employment sites in Portugal, prepare a CV in the European model and a cover letter, however, some companies require the applicant to have a residence permit, as the work of tourists is not authorized.

R. It happens through Portuguese Nationality; Expression of interest in employment; Stable union or marriage with Portuguese Nationals; Investments; Studies; Family reunification.

Q. What is PB4?

R. It is the result of an agreement signed between Brazil and Portugal in which Brazilian citizens are entitled to care in the Portuguese healthcare network, paying the same amount as Portuguese citizens. It is extensible for children under 18 years. In addition to Brazil and Portugal, other countries are part of this agreement, such as Spain, Greece, Italy and Cape Verde. Documents (originals and copies) to take the PB4: CPF, RG, Passport and proof of residence.

Q. Is the Brazilian Driver's License (CNH) valid in Portugal?

R. Yes, it is valid for 180 days and as long as you are in good standing.
